LPG production at Fajr Jam refinery up 38%

SHANA (Tehran) – The CEO of Fajr Jam Gas Company said the company produced nearly 19,000 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the first nine months of the current Iranian year, marking a 38% increase from the same period last year.

According to Fajr Jam Gas Refining Company, CEO Hamid Khedari said the company’s primary product, sweetened natural gas, totaled 13.76 billion cubic meters during the nine-month period, a 4.5% rise year over year.

Khedari said the refinery also produced more than 1.8 million barrels of gas condensate during the period, adding that the figures show the company not only met its mandated production targets but exceeded them in gas sweetening.

He described LPG as one of the refinery’s most important products, noting that it is transported to designated destinations using specialized tankers.
