According to the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC), Fardin Rashidi said Saturday, during a meeting with members of the Parliament’s Environment and Natural Resources Caucus, that several environmental and social responsibility projects are being implemented at the refinery. These include securing the refinery’s electricity supply, participating in water treatment projects, reducing air pollutants, replacing road transport with waterborne transport for refined products, and completing Phases 2 and 4 to produce higher-quality fuels.
Rashidi said these initiatives aim to improve energy efficiency and product quality at one of Iran’s oldest refineries.
