According to the presidential office’s information base, Pezeshkian spoke at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, June 18, saying, "I believe that with national solidarity and unity, we will overcome any crisis."
He urged officials and various agencies—particularly support organizations like the Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation and the State Welfare Organization of Iran —to act swiftly in addressing citizens' needs in case of emergencies. "It is crucial for people to know that officials stand by them and strive to provide suitable conditions for all," he stressed.
The president thanked nations that expressed solidarity and assistance, especially neighboring countries, following the recent crimes of the Zionist regime. He instructed ministers to maintain diplomatic engagements, particularly with neighboring states.
Pezeshkian also emphasized delegating authority to provincial officials, stating, "Ministers should grant necessary powers to their deputies and managers so each agency can make decisions when needed."
He called on all officials to strictly follow security and protective protocols as directed by relevant authorities to prevent any issues.
All cabinet members and presidential aides attended the meeting, where recent developments were discussed. The president issued necessary directives and measures to facilitate operations.
