Foad Hamzavi noted that these measures allowed the refinery to maintain uninterrupted, sustainable production, playing a vital role in serving citizens and supporting the power grid. As a result, the steady production of natural gas and byproducts such as condensates and liquefied gas continued.
He highlighted that through the ingenuity of Sarkhoon Gas Refinery’s skilled workforce—particularly in 1403—significant progress was made in self-sufficiency, with over 95% of spare parts sourced domestically. By utilizing 1,080 domestically manufactured equipment items, the refinery reduced reliance on foreign suppliers while achieving substantial savings in time and maintenance costs.
The CEO added that in research and technology, 18 first-of-their-kind projects were identified, and last year, four strategic initiatives received approval from the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology, moving into implementation. Additionally, nine cooperation agreements were signed with universities, Hormozgan Science and Technology Park, the National Oil and Gas Innovation and Technology Park, and the province’s Elite Foundation.
Hamzavi emphasized that in 1403, through careful planning and coordination, the refinery fulfilled its mission by producing 5.3 million cubic meters of natural gas and 1,712 barrels of liquefied gas per day, serving the public effectively.
