The session, aimed at expanding bilateral economic cooperation, will be co-chaired by Paknejad and Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilyov and is scheduled to take place from April 23 to 25 in Moscow.
Paknejad led a delegation that included members of Iran’s Parliament, deputy oil ministers, and representatives from other government agencies. Upon arrival, he was greeted by Kazem Jalali, Iran’s ambassador to Russia, and Russian officials.
His first-day agenda includes meetings with Alexander Novak, Russia’s deputy prime minister, and Sergey Tsivilyov, as well as coordination talks with Iranian delegates to finalize cooperation documents.
As the head of Iran’s delegation to the commission, Paknejad will join Russia’s energy minister on Friday to sign agreements on various sectors. The final session for signing the documents will be held at the President Hotel.
