Iran’s gasoline demand tops 150m liters

SHANA (Tehran) - Gasoline consumption in Iran reached over 150 million liters on Tuesday, marking a 17% increase compared to the same period last year.

According to data released by the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company, 150.2 million liters of gasoline were distributed across the country on Tuesday (Farvardin 12). This figure reflects a rise of 21.4 million liters, or 16.6%, compared to the 128.8 million liters distributed on the same day last year (Farvardin 12, 1403).  

The average daily gasoline consumption between Farvardin 1 and 12 this year was 132.2 million liters. Additionally, consumption on the 10th and 11th of Farvardin 1404 was recorded at 141.6 million liters and 140.2 million liters, respectively.
