Unprecedented gasoline consumption at the end of 1403

SHANA (Tehran) – The daily gasoline consumption in Iran reached over 164 million liters on Wednesday, the 29th of Esfand, coinciding with the start of Nowruz holiday travels, marking a significant increase.

According to statistics released by the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC), a total of 164.4 million liters of gasoline were distributed across the country on Wednesday, the 29th of Esfand. This figure represents an 8% rise compared to the 152 million liters recorded on the same day last year (29th of Esfand 1402).

The report also noted that the country's gasoline consumption on the 28th of Esfand 1403 was 136.7 million liters, while the average daily consumption since the beginning of 1403 has been 124 million liters.
