Iran will not yield its share in the global oil market

SHANA (Tehran) – A government spokesperson emphasized that the Ministry of Oil is one of the most critical ministries at the forefront of sanctions.

In a post in Farsi on the social media platform X, Fatemeh Mohajerani stated that Iran's oil exports cannot be halted.

The spokesperson in a post on her personal X account, wrote: "Under sanctions, several ministries are on the front lines, with the Ministry of Oil being one of the most significant. When they hastily impose sanctions on Mr. Paknejad, it indicates their concern over the activities and momentum of the Ministry of Petroleum. If previous sanctions had been effective, there would be no need for new or updated sanctions."

She added, "Oil exports cannot be stopped. Iran will not relinquish its share in the global oil market."
