Shazand Oil Refinery maintains production levels

SHANA (Tehran) – The CEO of Shazand Oil Refinery stated that operational activities at the refinery’s units are continuing as normal, with no disruption to the production process or output of strategic products, including gasoline and other essential derivatives needed by the country.

Reza Cheraghi, referencing a fire incident at the Isomax unit of the Imam Khomeini Shazand Oil Refinery, emphasized that thanks to the timely and dedicated efforts of the company’s skilled and committed personnel, there has been no impact on the production levels of critical products such as gasoline and other vital derivatives.

He added that operational activities at the refinery’s units are proceeding normally, and there is no concern regarding the production of energy-related products.

The CEO of Imam Khomeini Shazand Oil Refinery further explained that, based on preliminary assessments following the fire at the Isomax unit, adjustments were made to the feedstock distribution across the refinery’s units.

As a result, all feedstock for the hydrocracker unit has been redirected and processed in other units, ensuring no reduction in overall feedstock or product output.
