Innovative solutions explored to enhance safety in petchem industry

SHANA (Tehran) – A specialized meeting of health, safety, and environment (HSE) managers from petrochemical companies across the country was held to address challenges, exchange experiences, and present innovative solutions aimed at enhancing safety and promoting sustainable development in the petrochemical industry.

The meeting, attended by Davoud Emadi, HSE manager of the National Petrochemical Industries Company, and a group of senior managers from petrochemical holdings, was hosted by the Negin Makoran Petrochemical Development Company at the Makoran Petrochemical Complex in Chabahar.

Alireza Moniri-Abyaneh, CEO of Negin Makoran Petrochemical Development Company, highlighted the rich cultural and industrial development of the Baluchistan region and emphasized the importance of sustainable development and the role of HSE in advancing petrochemical projects in the area.

Mahmoud Zoqi, HSE manager of Negin Makoran Petrochemical Development Company, outlined the objectives of HSE and the projects completed in the region in the fields of health, safety, and environment. He stressed the importance of balanced and sustainable development and leveraging past experiences in the petrochemical industry to develop this industrial hub.

The event aimed to address challenges, share experiences, and propose innovative solutions to enhance safety and sustainable development in the petrochemical industry.

The latest safety and environmental standards in the industry were reviewed, and practical solutions to improve safety conditions in ongoing development projects were discussed.
