Kish Island to host sixth event supporting domestic production in oil industry

SHANA (Tehran) –The sixth specialized oil, gas, petrochemical and refining exhibition and conference, focusing on supporting domestic production and strategies to reduce energy imbalance, will be held with the support of the Ministry of Oil and four major companies.

The sixth specialized oil, gas, refining, and petrochemical exhibition and conference, with an emphasis on supporting domestic production, will take place from February 18 to 21, hosted by the Kish Free Zone.

Participation from over 60 major petrochemical, oil refining, and refining and petrochemical industry holding companies has been confirmed.

Alongside more than 250 Iranian manufacturers of oil industry equipment and knowledge-based companies, the latest technologies and expertise in domestic production aimed at reducing energy imbalance will be showcased.

Coinciding with the sixth specialized oil, gas, petrochemical and refining exhibition and conference, more than 24 specialized meetings will be held with the participation of oil industry trade associations, the Ministry of Oil, refining and petrochemical holdings and companies, banks, and capital market activists at the Kish Free Zone Convention Center.

With the involvement of all stakeholders, policymakers, decision-makers, experts, and representatives of knowledge-based companies, this event has become the most significant gathering and ecosystem supporting domestic production in Iran's oil industry.

The event, which will be held across 21,000 square meters of exhibition space and research and technology meetings, is supported by the Ministry of Oil, the Ministry's Engineering, Research, and Technology Department, as well as specialized oil, gas, refining, and petrochemical industry associations.

 These include the Petrochemical Industry Employers' Association, the Oil Refining Industry Employers' Association, the Oil Industry Equipment Manufacturers' Association, the Iran Oil Association, the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Development, and the Supreme Council of Free and Trade Zones.
