Mousa Ahmadi announced that members of the committee opposed invoking Article 234 (submitting violation reports to the judiciary) regarding the Ministries of Oil and Energy. 

The MP stated that representatives, considering the overall measures taken by the ministries, evaluated these actions positively in reducing energy imbalance.

Ahmadi, explaining the Sunday meeting of the Energy Committee, which addressed the request by several representatives to invoke Article 234 for the Ministries of Oil, Energy, Justice, and the Plan and Budget Organization regarding compliance with energy imbalance management laws during winter, said: At the beginning of the meeting, officials from the relevant ministries presented reports on their performance in addressing the imbalance. Subsequently, Malek Shariati-Niasar, another member of the Energy Committee, spoke on behalf of the petitioners, explaining the reasons for the perceived shortcomings.

He added that the Energy Committee representatives, taking into account factors such as the conditions under which the ministers and officials assumed their roles and pre-existing challenges, positively assessed the overall measures taken by these ministries to reduce energy imbalance.
