Gholamabbas Hosseini stated that the construction of turbines 108 and 109, relying on the expertise and capabilities of domestic manufacturers, has been successfully completed. The turbines were transported to South Pars Refinery 13 in the shortest possible time.
He emphasized that the two turbines were sourced from domestic strategic equipment manufacturers to ensure production stability and sustainability.
Hosseini added that the installation, alignment, inspection, and performance testing of the turbines and their components are key steps in integrating them into the production cycle.
The CEO noted that one turbine is already fully operational, while the other is in the final stages of commissioning and testing.
Hosseini highlighted the increasing domestic gas consumption and praised the efforts of specialists and staff at the South Pars Gas Complex refineries.
“Our experts and employees have dedicated all their efforts to ensuring continuous and sustainable gas production, providing comfort to our citizens, and supporting the nation’s economic growth. We are hopeful to successfully navigate through this cold season,” he said.
