Hassan Shahrouei, speaking on Friday evening during a media tour of the No. 5 operational unit of KOGPC, noted that the company is the largest oil producer in southern Iran.
He said, “Currently, the company’s daily crude oil production capacity is about 1 million barrels from fields such as Ahvaz Asmari, Mansouri Asmari, Abteymour, and Ramin.”
Shahrouei announced the company’s daily gas production capacity at 600 million cubic feet and added, “Over the past four months, significant efforts have been made to increase oil and gas production, the details of which will soon be announced by CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company Hamid Bovard.”
The CEO of KOPGC emphasized that oil and gas from approximately 700 wells, 33 processing plants, and 7,000 kilometers of pipelines are currently being delivered to consumption and export centers.
He stated, “In fact, our colleagues are putting all their efforts into supporting the country’s economy to avoid facing challenges.”
