BIPC petrochemicals exports up 35%

SHANA (Tehran) – Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company (BIPC) exported 1.006 million tons of products in the first nine months of the current Iranian year, marking a 35% increase compared to the same period last year.

The company plays a dual role by meeting critical domestic market demands while simultaneously boosting foreign currency revenues and supporting the country’s economic development under sanctions through the export of part of its production.

Since the beginning of this year (March 20), the company’s export revenues have surpassed $650 million. This achievement stems from optimized production capacity utilization and a strategic approach to international markets.

In the ninth month of the current Iranian year (November 21-December 20), BIPC exported 70,000 tons of products, generating $46 million in foreign currency revenue.

Last Iranian year, the company exported over one million tons of products, playing a pivotal role in securing foreign exchange resources for the country.
