Talking to SHANA, Shahbaz Pourbiglari, the deputy chairman of Parliament’s Economic Committee, added the 13th administration’s Oil Ministry under Owji has taken major strides toward development.

Elaborating on its brilliant performance, the parliamentarian said, “The ministry has paid special attention to the use of homegrown equipment in different sectors, including refining and petrochemical projects.”

He also pointed to promotion of energy diplomacy and relations with OPEC and non-OPEC members and development of oil and gas fields as other invaluable jobs done by the ministry.

Touching upon the 27th Iran International Oil, Gas, ‎Refining and ‎Petrochemical Exhibition, Pourbiglari said the expo has promoted the market, helping producers and contractors establish effective bilateral and multilateral relations.

Also known as Iran Oil Show, the 27th edition of the exhibition started at Tehran International Permanent Fairground Wednesday and ended Saturday.

More than 1,500 domestic and 200 foreign companies from 13 countries displayed their latest achievements in the expo.
