40% Rise in Iran Oil Sales Compared to Last Month of Ex-Admin: Min.

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The Iranian Minister of Economy and Finance said that the sale of oil and gas condensate, while no agreement has been reached yet, has increased by 40% compared to the last month of the previous administration, which shows an active approach in difficult conditions.

According to IRNA, Ehsan Khandoozi ,in a speech before the Friday prayer sermons in Tehran, stated that the tangible increase in oil sales and the provision of hard currency for staple commodities is one of the achievements of the current administration, adding: “Export problems were made conditional on the nuclear deal, but the 13th administration achieved great success in the field of foreign trade and economic security through the policies of a resilient economy and interaction with friendly and allied countries.”

He pointed out that the sale of oil and gas condensate has increased by more than 40% compared to the last month of the previous administration, adding: "One of the main measures regarding the sanctions was to enhance the sale of oil. While no agreement has yet been reached, oil and condensate sales have risen 40 percent since the last month of the 12th administration, indicating an active approach in difficult times. The thirteenth government has not tied the livelihood of the people to an agreement with the powers.”
