Bandar Emam Petchem Plant Seals €39m Ethane Deal

TEHRAN (Shana) – Bandar Emam Petrochemical Plant has signed a €39-million contract with the Energy Industries Engineering and Design (EIED) Company for construction of an ethane recovery unit.

The EPCC deal was signed in a ceremony held on Wednesday in the presence of the CEO of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC), Jafar Rabiee, and the CEOs Bandar Emam and EIED companies.

The purpose of building this unit, which will take 24 months, is to provide maximum feedstock for olefin units of Bandar Emam Petrochemical Plant with 942,000 tons of +C3 and 475,000 tons of ethane output annually.
