Speaking on Wednesday, Mehdi Fakoor said, “Today in life, we need knowledge in our daily life and one of the tasks of research is to create knowledge.”

Referring to the wide role of research and technology in the oil industry, he added: "Only in our country in the field of energy, many openings have been provided by research and now 80 to 90% of the activity and equipment of Iranian wells from downhole pumps to crown wells are all Iranian."
