Hard Currency Resources from Oil Exports Up: CBI

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The spokesman of the Program and Budget Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly said: "According to the report of the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, the total hard currency resources from oil, gas, gas condensate exports have risen significantly compared to last year."

Mohammad Mehdi Mofateh, describing the meeting of the Program and Budget Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly on Tuesday evening, which was held in the presence of Ali Salehabadi, Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, said during the meeting, the CBI head provided a report about the country's hard currency exchanges.

He added: "According to the report of the Governor of the Central Bank, the total hard currency resources from oil, gas, gas condensate, currency provided in the Nima system and people's currency has increased significantly compared to last year and this growth will continue throughout the year. We expect relative stability in the hard currency market.”
