Based on the CBI report, the sector posted 15.4 percent growth in autumn and 9.3 percent in the nine-month period.

During the Iranian year, 31 major semifinished projects of the Ministry of Petroleum were completed and put into operation through investing 12 billion dollars. 

Development of oil and gas fields, transmission and supply of gas, and collection of flare gas were upstream projects, as refining and petrochemical projects were implemented in the downstream sector in the four corners of the country.
