Problem of Oil Industry Employees’ Salaries being Solved

TEHRAN (Shana) – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani emphasized that Iran has not had and does not have any problems in the production and export of crude oil, and said: "I promise the employees of the Ministry of Petroleum that their salary problems will be solved."

According to the presidential information website, President.ir, Dr. Hassan Rouhani said today (Wednesday, July 30) at the cabinet meeting: "If it were not for Trump and the coronavirus, the country's economic growth without oil would be 4.1 percent today and economic growth with oil would be 3.8 percent, inflation today would be 11.5 percent, the dollar rate would be below Rls. 50,000 and investment growth would be 4.7 percent, and the country's GDP would be 22 percent higher than what we see today.”

He said that his administration has not spared any effort to solve the country's problems and confront the economic war and the coronavirus pandemic, adding: "The 12th administration has compromised its principles in the path to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) implementation and has exploited all opportunities, hours and minutes."

Regarding the salaries of the oil industry employees, Rouhani also said: "I promise the honorable employees of the oil industry that their problem will be solved. We are pursuing this matter, the Minister of Petroleum is also pursuing it. We will solve this problem. We will not allow them to be limited in terms of the salaries they should receive.”
