Monitoring Systems Localized in Agar, Dalan Sites

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The Canada-built PMP radio surveillance system of Agar and Dalan operational sites have been localized, saving the country Rls. 1 billion.

According to the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC), Mostafa Palizian, head of the Agar and Dalan operational sites, said until recently, telephone centers of collection, separation and gas stations and some security posts in this site had been established through Canadian PMP microwave radios, but due to sanctions, this system was removed from the support cycle by its manufacturer and its parts could not be supplied.

He added monopolized technology, the lack of vital spare parts and the importance of constant telephone communication with operational centers, prompted ICOFC experts to solve this problem by resorting to reverse engineering.
