By unveiling the items, the company has offered 5 new products in the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.

Karoun Petrochemical Company, with the aim of completing the value chain and diversifying its production portfolio, for the first time produced and offered KHR-45 and MDA completing the value chain of MDI products in order to meet the needs of domestic intermediate and downstream producers.

Earlier this year, the company had launched three isocyanate items, including MTDA, KMT-10 and KLM100B (L) grades, to meet the needs of the automotive, office, home and footwear industries, paint and resin industries, industrial adhesives and laminates, sealants, shock absorbers, orthopedic bandages, and office and industrial flooring.

The KHR-45 product has received the approval of the highest and strictest standards in the country and is competitive with foreign ones.

The MDA was previously only produced in the United States and entered the country with different brands, and now, Karoun Petrochemical Plant is able to produce it for the country.

Karun Petrochemical Plant is the first producer of isocyanates, including TDI and MDI. It is also the first company to complete the polyurethane value chain in the Middle East and the West Asia region.

This petrochemical company uses chlorine, carbon monoxide and hydrogen, toluene, benzene, formalin, ammonia, nitric acid and sulfuric acid to produce a variety of basic petrochemical products with high value-added and world-class quality.
