The ministry’s Council of Deputies reviewed reports from Caretaker Oil Minister Hamid Bovard’s recent visit to the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone and followed up on decisions made during the trip, with the aim of accelerating reconstruction work and restoring lost production capacity.

The meeting, held Sunday afternoon, also addressed crude oil and natural gas production, as well as output of petroleum products, including gasoline and diesel.

Progress on projects to capture flared gas and plans to ensure fuel supplies during the winter were also discussed.
