Mohammad Meshkinfam made the remarks during a visit by an inspector from the National Inspection Organization to the Rey oil depot.
Unlike conventional engineering projects, which can take months to complete basic design, prepare scopes of work and conduct tendering procedures, reconstruction began under exceptional circumstances with all available resources mobilized to maintain fuel distribution, Meshkinfam said.
Time management was critical, he said, adding that repair and reconstruction work, including pipeline restoration, began immediately after the incident, even on holidays.
Despite the scale of the work and its technical complexities, the projects have made significant progress, Meshkinfam said.
He emphasized that strict technical supervision has been maintained throughout the process.
Although the reconstruction projects differ significantly from routine engineering work, rigorous technical controls and round-the-clock efforts by oil industry personnel have helped achieve the planned objectives and keep the country’s fuel supply chain operating without interruption, he said.
