Speaking to Shana, Behzad Mohammadi, who is also the CEO of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), said 34 projects had been defined in the second and third leaps of the industry which would push Iran to the first rank of the region’s petrochemical producers.

"Intelligent development of the petrochemical industry along volumetric development in line with global developments" is a topic that Mohammadi emphasized in an exclusive interview with Shana.

By realization of the two leaps, Iran will witness a major growth in petrochemical production capacity which would nearly double its annual output from currently 66 million tons.
