US to Fail in Stopping Iran Oil Exports: Veep

TEHRAN (Shana) -- First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said: “Despite the fact that the country’s revenues and budget have been influenced by US sanctions, Washington’s efforts to bring Iran’s oil exports to zero will not be a success.”

On Tuesday, Jahangiri underlined US’s unilateral pullout from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), saying the US president had announced that the deal had been a major fraud against the US and everything in it favored Iran.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran waited a whole year and today is reducing its commitment with the deal because we believe that if the JCPOA is not to be beneficial, we will reduce our commitment to it so that the world knows that they are faced with a civilized people in Iran not a country without a determination.”
