He said that furthermore, infrastructures for development of the fields will be definitely studied. "We hope that good steps will be taken for conclusion of contracts on the fields."
On his company's contribution into other oil projects of Iran, Akbarov said, "Besides Ab Teymour and Mansouri fields, the companies have also undertaken study on the Persian Gulf region, which we will announce it in the near future."
The official said, "Regarding the vast extent of Iranian oil fields and also high volume of reserves, naturally a company cannot win the chance to develop all oil fields. Due to the same reason, we try to focus on the said two fields so that it will come to result in lesser time and more speed."
As for quality of investment in Iranian oil fields, he said, "Study on the type of investment is now underway."
While confirming studies on new model of Iranian oil contracts, he said, "Regarding extent and volume of oil fields, exigencies are at work for conclusion of the contracts."
Following lift of sanctions, LUKoil re-opened its office in Tehran in March 2015 and is highly interested in presence in Iranian oil projects.
