The Plant is located on 36 hectares of land northwest of Persian Gulf in Khouzestan Province.
The Plant’s feedstock is light and heavy naphtha and pyrolysis gasoline.
Since Wednesday operations have been underway to curb the blaze. Minister of Petroleum, Bijan Zanganeh, is in the area to oversee fire controlling operations.
