Ali Adeli-Nik, head of production operations for South Pars Area 1 platforms, said the combined maintenance campaign lasted 15 days.
On the first platform, crews completed 746 maintenance work orders and logged 4,284 man-hours over a seven-day period. The work included 64 mechanical tasks, 575 instrumentation assignments, 43 workshop activities, 46 inspection operations and 18 electrical jobs.
The second platform underwent eight days of maintenance, during which teams completed 806 work orders and recorded 4,870 safe man-hours. The scope of work included 127 mechanical tasks, 44 workshop activities, 585 instrumentation assignments, 46 inspection operations and four electrical jobs.
Adeli-Nik said key activities carried out on the two platforms included calibrating safety valves, installing a flare ignition system and welding process pipelines.
Despite limitations and damage affecting onshore facilities, he said production and operations management teams prioritized maintenance activities to ensure the platforms are fully prepared for gas production during the winter demand season.
According to the report, the Pars Oil and Gas Company typically conducts major maintenance on South Pars gas platforms during the first half of each year. However, due to conditions stemming from the recent war, the company has prioritized maintenance on platforms linked to damaged refineries while continuing to schedule work on other platforms within the constraints of maintaining maximum gas production.
