Rahim Zare’ said the committee recently met with senior officials from the Oil Ministry to review the impact of the Third Imposed War on Iran’s oil sector. During the session, ministry officials presented reports on the extent of the damage and ongoing recovery efforts.
According to Zare’, the reports and field observations by committee members showed that fuel supplies were managed effectively throughout the conflict, ensuring that the country’s energy needs were met without major disruptions for the public. He credited the performance to the dedicated efforts of oil industry personnel.
“Despite sanctions, maritime restrictions and wartime conditions, proper planning can ensure adequate fuel supplies for the coming winter,” Zare’ said.
He added that Parliament intends to support reconstruction efforts through legislative measures, including revisions to the Seventh Development Plan and the 1405 budget. The proposed changes would focus on facilitating investment and providing compensation mechanisms financed through oil company revenues, enabling damaged facilities to resume operations quickly.
Zare’ said coordination between Parliament and the Oil Ministry will continue to ensure the rapid restoration of critical energy infrastructure and maintain stable fuel supplies across the country.
