The meeting, chaired by Gholamreza Tajgardoun, head of the Parliament’s Planning, Budget and Accounts Commission, focused on recent trends and operational updates across the country’s energy sector.
Attendees included Hamid Bovard, managing director of the National Iranian Oil Company, Saeed Tavakoli, managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company, and Hassan Abbaszadeh, managing director of the National Petrochemical Company.
During the session, Tajgardoun expressed appreciation for the efforts of oil industry employees during what he described as the “third imposed war” and received briefings on the status of Iran’s oil production and exports, particularly during the conflict period. Members of the commission also shared their views on industry performance and ongoing energy-sector developments.
