According to fvpresident.ir, Mohammadreza Aref made the remarks Saturday during a meeting with managers of the Persian Gulf Holding Company. He congratulated Iran on the victory of Ramadan War and the defeat of the enemy, while referring to the costs the country incurred during the 12-day war and the Ramadan conflict.
Aref said the conflicts also produced significant achievements, including the identification of capable and efficient managers across various sectors of the government.
He said the enemy sought social collapse and Iran’s surrender during the war, and had earlier pursued political destabilization during unrest in the month of Dey. He said the Iranian people thwarted both strategies through public participation.
Aref added that the American-Zionist enemy adopted a strategy during the third imposed war of attacking Iran’s infrastructure and industries, targeting the steel, oil and petrochemical sectors in an effort to create unemployment and damage key industries. He said that strategy also failed.
Referring to the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz, Aref said the waterway has become a decisive point for the country and that proper management of it could fundamentally neutralize the effects of sanctions.
He described the battlefield, the public sphere and diplomacy as Iran’s three main pillars of support, adding that the Islamic Republic acts on the basis of logic and ethics in diplomacy while remaining firm in defending its rights.
Aref said Iran’s position in the region and the world has changed following the third imposed war and called for more precise planning for the country’s industrial development under the new conditions.
