‘Electronic health companion’ web app unveiled

SHANA (Tehran) — The National Iranian Oil Company has launched a new web-based application, “Electronic Health Companion of Oil” (Hamsan system), aimed at streamlining the processing of medical documents and accelerating reimbursement payments for its workforce.

According to the company, the platform is designed to reduce in-person visits, increase transparency and simplify request tracking. Users can retrieve tracking codes, view the status of submitted documents online and edit returned prescriptions within the system.

The platform also enables employees to upload medical documents and supporting records electronically for reimbursement, eliminating the need for physical submissions.

Instructional videos on how to use the system are available on the official website of the Oil Industry Health Organization at piho.ir/fa/service/hamsan.

How to upload outpatient medical expense documents:

1. Using the latest version of a mobile browser, enter hamsan.piho.ir to access the login page.

2. Log in by entering your mobile phone number and national ID to view your electronic file.

3. At the bottom of the electronic file page, select the option to upload scanned medical documents.
