Fuel supply secure despite attacks on major oil depots

SHANA (Tehran) — Iran's oil minister said Sunday that airstrikes by the United States and Zionist regime on oil depots in Tehran and Karaj have not disrupted the country's fuel supply, while calling for public cooperation to manage challenges caused by the attacks.

Mohsen Paknejad said during a visit to one of the targeted oil depots in Tehran that the strikes Saturday night damaged some fuel supply infrastructure, but contingency plans ensure continued distribution.

"The criminal Zionist regime and US have targeted energy infrastructure to put our dear people in difficulty," Paknejad said.

The minister urged the public, particularly in Tehran, to avoid unnecessary trips to gas stations to help maintain stable fuel management under current conditions.
