The NIORDC said in a statement that several oil depots in Tehran and Alborz provinces were hit in a missile attack Saturday evening. Firefighting teams are working to contain the blazes.

The company blamed the Zionist-US enemy for the attack on the country's energy infrastructure.

It said it had minimized fuel reserves at the targeted depots as a precaution and that supplies to the two provinces are being maintained from other locations.
