Minister Paknejad: Fuel supplies stable despite attacks

SHANA (Tehran) – Oil minister said the country has sufficient fuel reserves and urged the public not to worry about energy supplies despite recent attacks.

Mohsen Paknejad made the remarks Sunday while attending a public gathering in Tehran, where participants mourned the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei. Paknejad expressed condolences to the Iranian people and said the crowd’s presence reflected loyalty to the country’s leadership and the system of governance.

He emphasized that Iran’s energy sector remains stable, saying the country holds adequate fuel reserves and that operations continue as normal. “People should have no concerns about fuel supply,” Paknejad said, adding that government affairs and executive activities are proceeding routinely.

Paknejad also said employees across the oil industry — including workers on offshore platforms in the Persian Gulf, as well as at oil and gas refineries and pipeline networks — remain at their posts to ensure uninterrupted energy production and distribution.

“Despite attacks by the United States and the Zionist regime, the country continues to function normally and that the energy sector has faced no disruptions so far,” Paknejad said.
