The project became operational on Monday, the 20th of Bahman, in the presence of Mohammad-Sadeq Azimifar, CEO of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Co.

Under the plan, smart fuel cards are issued instantly through a fully electronic process, with applicants registering online at fcs.niopdc.ir without the need for in-person visits. The system reduces travel and follow-up requirements that were part of the previous card issuance process.

The instant fuel card issuance project introduces a faster service model aimed at lowering national costs, ensuring stable fuel supply security, saving applicants time and expenses, and preventing potential misuse through the generation of a unique random code for each card.

Key features of the project include the use of domestic expertise with the support of local specialists, a simplified and user-friendly process, and high-quality laser engraving of information on the back of the cards.
