According to the National Petrochemical Company, Ali Rabani said on Monday that every subscriber who participates in the process will receive a base point and one lottery chance. These points can be increased by inviting friends, participating in training courses (both taking and giving), and advancing through process levels (reaching level 3). Additionally, for every 10% reduction in consumption, a subscriber receives an extra lottery chance.
He added that the first lottery draw of this phase will be based on subscribers with complete profiles. Future draws will only include subscribers who, based on data from the National Iranian Gas Company, achieve specific targets: at least a 10% savings for third and fourth quartile consumers, stable consumption for first quartile consumers, and a 5% reduction for second quartile consumers.
Rabani explained that, based on last year's results, special attention is being given to first quartile consumers this year. For example, in Mazandaran province, a 41 million cubic meter reduction was achieved from the second quartile and above, while consumption in the first quartile increased by 59 million cubic meters.
Regarding criteria for future "Energetic Tuesdays" lottery draws, Rabani said a subscriber with a monthly consumption under 300 cubic meters who maintains it gets one lottery chance. If that subscriber also achieves a 10% reduction, they receive two chances.
He cited the reforestation of burned Zagros forests as a successful social project aligned with the campaign. Using resources from the campaign and with public and NGO cooperation, an area has been designated as a "community protected zone," where 2.5 hectares of oak saplings have been planted. This will continue up to 200 hectares with public participation.
The manager highlighted widespread public engagement, noting 140,000 gas subscribers participated last year. According to the latest figures, 262,000 have registered this year. On the day the informational text message was sent, 635 new registrations occurred in the first few hours despite no messaging app outreach, indicating public initiative and built trust in the program.
Rabani invited all citizens, especially subscribers in Gilan, Mazandaran, and Golestan provinces, to join this national movement to reduce energy waste via the website nabzenergy.ir and benefit from tens of thousands of planned prizes.
