In the decree, issued by Saman Qodousi, Dashti was appointed in recognition of his “commitment, expertise and valuable experience.”

The decree outlines several priorities for Dashti’s tenure, including strengthening the network’s role as a leading media authority through closer coordination among public relations units, modernizing media content to provide a transparent picture of oil industry activities, and expanding the use of digital and online platforms.

Other priorities include pursuing internal and external organizational demands through media channels, developing and protecting specialized human resources, updating news production and distribution processes to meet organizational needs, and improving Shana’s media output — including news documentaries and other products — through structural reforms and modern publishing systems.

Qodousi expressed hope for Dashti’s continued success in carrying out his new responsibilities.
