Self-declaration system for multi-vehicle owners to receive gasoline quota launched

SHANA (Tehran) – The online self-declaration system for owners of multiple vehicles opened Tuesday and will remain available for one month for users to select the vehicle that will receive a gasoline quota under the new fuel-allocation plan.

According to the National Iranian Oil Products Refining and Distribution Company, the platform, available at fcs.niopdc.ir, went live at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Applicants must first log in through the national smart government services portal (“my.gov.ir”) and then enter their vehicle registration serial number and license plate information to register their vehicles.

If a multi-vehicle owner does not select a preferred vehicle within the one-month window, the fuel card with the highest number of transactions over the past three months will automatically be designated as the primary card eligible for first- and second-tier gasoline quotas. All other fuel cards under that individual’s name will be deactivated under the multi-vehicle policy.

The company emphasized in its second public notice that the multi-vehicle definition applies only to private passenger cars. Other motor vehicles owned by an individual—such as motorcycles or privately owned public-service vehicles—are not included in the multi-vehicle category.
