First downhole pump comes online at South Azadegan oil field
SHANA (Tehran) – The first electric submersible pump (ESP) at the South Azadegan oil field has been successfully installed and commissioned at well No. 93, drawing on the expertise of domestic specialists. Officials expect that completing the installation of 50 ESPs by June 2026 will add about 35,000 barrels per day to the field’s production capacity.

SHANA (Tehran) – The spokesman for Parliament’s Energy Committee said the launch of the second train of the Central Processing and Export Terminal (CTEP) at the South Azadegan joint oil field is a key step toward offsetting production shortfalls, increasing oil output and countering sanctions under current conditions.

SHANA (Tehran) — The chief executive of Petropars Group said the operational capacity of the South Azadegan joint oil field has increased to 160,000 barrels per day, citing the start-up of the second train of the central processing facility and the gradual return of wells to production.

South Azadegan crude oil processing unit to launch soon
SHANA (Tehran) – The CEO of the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC) announced that around-the-clock efforts by operational teams are underway to launch the first phase of the crude oil processing unit at the South Azadegan joint field. He stated that the unit will soon begin production.
