SAVEH, Markazi -- Some 86,815 tons of non-oil commodities were exported from this central city during the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21).

Head of Customs Department of Saveh Abdollah Karimi told IRNA here Saturday that the value of the exported goods stood at 332 billion rials ($37 million dollars). He added that glassware hot and cold rolled steel sheets, galvanized pipes, ceramic tiles, molding parts, and biscuits were among the products exported to Italy, Bulgaria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkey, Greece, the UAE, Mozambique, Yemen, Ghana, Serbia, and the Central Asian states. He further noted that 709 tons of non-oil goods, valued at 137.783 billion rials, were imported to Saveh during the same period. The goods were imported from Turkey, Germany, the UAE, Italy, Uzbekistan, Switzerland, and China, Karimi added.
