According to data from the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company, the country’s average daily gasoline consumption stood at 133.7 million liters in October, up from 126 million liters in the month to October 22, 2024 — an increase of about 8 million liters per day, or 6.5%.
The report said the highest level of gasoline consumption during the month was recorded on September 27, at 147.3 million liters, while the lowest was on October 17, at 119.3 million liters.
Although average consumption in the month to October 22 declined by more than 5% from the previous month’s 141.7 million liters, it was still about 8 million liters higher than in the same month of last year, marking new records in the country’s gasoline consumption trends.
