Abdolkarim Alimohammadi, deputy managing director for drilling projects, said the well was drilled using the Fat’h 28 rig and has been handed over to the Petroleum Engineering and Development Co. for production.
He said two rigs, Fat’h 92 and Fat’h 28, are operating at the field. The first well was completed a month ago with the Fat’h 92 rig, which is now drilling the third well. Meanwhile, the Fat’h 28 rig is being moved to the location of the fourth well.
Alimohammadi noted that Yadavaran is one of Iran’s joint oil fields. The project, launched in May 2024, will see six wells drilled and completed once finished.
