NIOC to Raise Azadegan, Yadavaran Output
TEHRAN (Shana) -- The head of corporate planning of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), Karim Zobeidi, says Iran is now ready to produce 3.838 mb/d of oil. In an interview with “Iran Petroleum”, he says the giant South Azadegan oil field would see its output reach 220,000 b/d. He also says talks are under way with a foreign firm to develop the second phase of the Yadavaran field for its output to increase to 210,000 b/d from the current 110,000 b/d.

China Silent on Yadavaran Phase 2 Development
TEHRAN (Shana) -- The manager of Yadavaran oil field development has said that the Chinese have not presented any suggestions for the second phase development of the Yadavaran field. He said that the production capacity of this field had increased in the past one year, but the Chinese had not offered any plans for the project. He said Iran would not wait for the Chinese to develop the second phase of this field.

Yadavaran Output Capacity Set to Grow
TEHRAN (Shana) -- Touraj Dehqani, CEO of Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC), has said the company plans to increase production from the Yadavaran oil field. He also told Iran Petroleum that Iran was in talks with China’s Sinopec for the second phase development of the Yadavaran field. He noted that in case the Chinese company shows no willingness to develop this field, PEDEC would drill 25 wells in order to add 50,000 b/d to the field’s output.
