Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, the CEO of the Iranian Oil Terminals Company, Abbas Asadrouz, emphasized the system’s role in improving the accuracy and credibility of oil analysis tests, saying, “The system is to make big changes to laboratory services through strengthening communication infrastructure, improving data security, and enabling real-time information exchange.”
Meanwhile, the Head of Quality Control and Laboratories at the Oil Terminals Company, Mehrdad Gholipour, said the system was developed in six months in collaboration with a domestic knowledge-based company and currently covers laboratory data from Kharg, South Pars, and North Pars regions. Jask Terminal is also set to link to the system in the next phase.
“The system is a smart and reliable platform as it provides diverse reporting, online information exchange, access control and direct links to other oil and gas laboratories,” he added.
“The system is expected to play a significant role in improving efficiency in quality control process and facilitate interactions with other oil companies, while enhancing the accuracy and speed of oil analysis,” Gholipour noted.
The 29th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition, also known as Iran Oil Show 2025, kicked off in Tehran on Thursday, May 8, and will be open to visitors every day from 8:00 to 15:00 (0430 to 1130 GMT) until Sunday.
