on Thursday May 8, the memorandum of cooperation between The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company and the Science and Technology Vice-Presidency was signed in the twenty ninth International Oil, Gas, Refinement and Petrochemistry Exhibition by Mohammad-Sadeq Azimifar the CEO of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company and Hossein Afshin the Deputy for Science and Technology and knowledge-based economy.

This memorandum of cooperation will develop all-out scientific, research based and technological cooperations while ensuring efficient use of the existing scientific capacities and expertise of the country to overcome challenges and aims for benefiting from knowledge-based companies’ capacities in the chain of strategic equipment value of the NOD while increasing resilience and creating sustainability in providing the necessary items and developing technology

The most significant pillars of this memorandum include assistance in creating cooperate venture capital (CVC), the intelligentization of refineries program, providing service based on macro data analysis and supporting technological plans of the company in first production
