Hamid Khedri stated that the first phase of the major overhaul for Section A of the ninth refinery was successfully completed, adding, "The first phase was finished within a 13-day timeframe using modern methods and 100% domestically manufactured goods." According to the planned schedule for the 2025 overhaul calendar, the second phase of major repairs will begin on May 6.

He provided details on the second phase, saying: "This stage includes major overhauls of the third and fourth gas trains, as well as a total shutdown of the fifth and sixth gas trains."

The manager of the ninth refinery at the South Pars Gas Complex noted that the second phase is expected to take 53 days. During this period, intensive efforts will focus on enhancing safety, increasing productivity, and improving unit performance. These measures aim to maintain production stability, reduce emergency shutdowns, and achieve the company’s long-term goals for optimal operational efficiency.
